WEDDING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Menu & Package
If you decide to alter or add any items to our package, a new package cost will be supplied to you. Only food and alcohol supplied by The Loft is allowed on the premises except for specialty cakes. Left over food and alcohol is not to be removed from the premises under the guidelines of health and licensing regulations.

Deposit
A booking will only be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit in the sum of $1,000.00. If this payment is not received within 14 days of the booking being made, Management reserves the right to re book the date. Once a deposit has been received by The Loft, the bride and grooms acceptance of the Terms and Conditions will be deemed confirmed.

Cancellation
Should you decide to cancel your booking, all cancellations must be made in writing and signed by both parties. Monies by way of deposit are part refundable when the date of your booking is re-let. A $250.00 handling fee will be retained by The Loft to cover administration costs. If the date is not re-let, the deposit will be retained.

Transfer of Booking Date
In the event you wish to change the date of your booking a second deposit will be required. When the original date is re-let, the full deposit will be refunded. If it is not re-let, the deposit will be retained.

Final Number of Guests
The final number of guests charged by way of invoice is the number notified to The Loft three weeks prior to your function.

Reduction in Guest Numbers
Should the final number of guests drop below 80 guests the package price per guest will increase accordingly. The package prices are calculated on a minimum of 80 guests.

Payment
All payments are to be made in cash, credit card or bank cheque.

Package Price
Package prices will be held for a maximum of 12 months.

Final Payment
Final payment for your function is due and payable fourteen days prior to the function.

Damages
You shall be liable for damages or theft at the venue as a result of your function.

Venue Hire
All functions are based on a five hour duration unless otherwise specified. Ceremonies are based on a one and a half hour duration.

Extended Venue Hire
In the event you wish to extend the venue hire the following extra charges will apply:
Venue hire: $250.00 per hour
Beverage package: $5.50 per person per hour
Disc Jockey: $100.00 per hour
Payments for extended hire must be made in cash or bank cheque prior to the hire being extended.

Children
Children aged between 5 - 12 years inclusive are half priced when receiving a meal from the Childrens Menu. Children aged under 5 years are free of charge.

Surcharges
Surcharges apply to public holidays to cover the increased cost and penalty rates.
Public Holiday: $500.00

Flower Arragements
Flower arrangements are based on $15.00 per 10 guests. Extra arrangements outside of this ratio will be at clients own expense.

Liability
The Loft will take care of, but accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal property or gifts brought to, or left on the premises by you or your guests. The Loft will not be responsible for the death or personal injury to any guest whilst on the premises and you will indemnify The Loft against any claims in relation thereto.

Final Arragements
Final arrangements are to be made by appointment six weeks prior to your function.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the reception venue. Ashtrays will be provided on the Terrace.

Vehicle Entry
All vehicles must be parked in the staff car park. Bridal cars and cars for the disabled are permitted to drop off and pick up at the venue by arrangement only.

Confetti
The use of confetti and Bubbles or similar products is forbidden within the grounds of The Loft and the Park. Fresh or dried flowers, or similar bio-degradable products may be used at the venue only after prior approval with management. The sprinkling of foil items on the bridal and guest tables is forbidden.

Alcohol
The service of alcohol will cease half an hour before the end of your function.
The Loft must comply with The Responsible Service of Alcohol Act. In order to prevent under age drinking, we require Proof of Age when requested by staff. Persons who are intoxicated will be refused admission to our premises. Any guest who becomes affected by the consumption of alcohol will be denied service. Management reserves the right to evict any guest that engages in unsociable behaviour.

Noise
The Loft reserves the right to control the level of amplified sound created by the Disc Jockey or Band.

Children
The Loft is located in a bush setting. There are dams, waterfalls and rides that are not fenced which present inherent dangers to small children. Please make sure that all children are properly supervised by their parents when outside the venue.
