Outdoor Ride Attendants

Customer Service Officer

A fast-paced role for an experienced front-line professional that oversees the important Admissions Entry and Ticketing Process. Being a primary point of contact for guests, you will represent the core values of Jamberoo Action Park through your friendly and confident interaction while using your abilities to resolve all guest inquiries in a timely and amicable manner. Daily duties will include:

  • Working closely under the Retail Manager to deliver a ‘quality entertainment experience’ for all guests;
  • Leading a team of dedicated Admission and Retail Attendants;
  • Providing timely resolutions to guest inquiries regarding ticketing and general park operations;
  • Assist the Retail Manager implement training programs, undertake Attendant appraisals and mentoring on the job skills development;
  • Assist in managing the stock levels of the relevant Retail Outlets;
  • Using a variety of communication mediums to engage with the management of operational demands and trends; and
  • Being methodical when required to troubleshoot or solve operational matters within your areas of responsibility.

Landscapers & Apprentices

NOW HIRING – APPRENTICE!

Jamberoo Action Park is always on the lookout for passionate and dedicated individuals to join the organisation’s committed Landscape Team in maintaining the extensive gardens and grounds. This physically demanding role requires an eagerness to take part in a range of landscaping projects. In the case of an apprentice, the successful applicant will complete a Certificate III in Horticulture (Parks and Gardens) over a 4 year period and will meet the following criteria:

  • Previous experience that demonstrates a dedicated work ethic and passion for landscaping;
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a variety of weather conditions;
  • Eagerness to use various tools and machinery;
  • Willingness to undertake further training as required;
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet the demands of the Business; and
  • Current NSW’s manual driver’s license.

Maintenance Officer

Reporting to our senior Maintenance Manager, and as a member of a busy and varied Maintenance Team, you would be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the park’s rides, machinery, plants and equipment.

This will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Carrying out daily inspections and preventative maintenance of all rides and attractions;
  • Ensuring that all rides and attractions are operating as per the manufacturers’ guidelines and the Company Procedures;
  • Diagnosing issues or breakdowns in order to effectively and efficiently provide a solution and timeline;
  • General facility maintenance, servicing and up-keep of all company machinery and plants;
  • Major maintenance and repair works during the off-season;
  • Assist with Company projects and developments, including the installation of new attractions; and
  • Ensuring all documentation and maintenance logs are kept up to date and meet statutory guidelines.

If you’re a strong problem solver, keen to learn new skills and flexible enough to shift between a variety of responsibilities, Jamberoo Action Park wants to hear from you!

trade qualification, or significant experience in a Fitting and Turning role will be imperative to your success, with the park keen to hear from people with a broad range of relevant experiences. You’ll need a strong eye for detail and an analytical mindset to meet the challenge of identifying and resolving a range of faults, with a commitment to high-quality work and proactive problem-solving.
