Driving

Jamberoo Action Park is just over an hour south of Sydney, 20 minutes south of Wollongong and an easy 2 + hour drive from Canberra. Below are some simple directions from locations such as Sydney, Southwestern Sydney, Western Sydney and the Canberra / Goulburn regions.

From the North

  •  Follow the (M1) Princes Motorway signs (formerly the F6) to Wollongong
  • Head south past Wollongong for 20 minutes, following the signs to Nowra
  • Turn right onto the Illawarra Highway (A48) at the roundabout before Albion Park airport
  • Follow the signs to Jamberoo for approx. 8 kms
  • Jamberoo Action Park on right


From the South

  • Follow the highway to Kiama and take the Jamberoo exit
  • Follow the road to the Jamberoo township
  • Turn right at the roundabout at the end of the town, and follow the signs for 4 kms
  • Jamberoo Action Park on left


From the West

  • Take the M5 or M7 and continue until it joins into the Hume Highway
  • Take the Picton exit (after the Campbelltown exit) and follow signs to Wollongong
  • Bypass the Wollongong exit and head south along the (M1) Princes Motorway (formerly the F6) for 15 minutes, following signs to Nowra
  • Turn right onto the Illawarra Highway (A48) at the roundabout before Albion Park airport
  • Follow the signs to Jamberoo for approx. 8 kms
  • Jamberoo Action Park on right


From Canberra/Goulburn regions

  • Exit Hume Highway at Moss Vale Interchange
  • Take the Illawarra Highway (A48) and travel through Moss Vale, Robertson towards Macquarie Pass
  • Continue onto Albion Park
  • At the traffic lights turn right into Russell Street
  • At the traffic lights turn right into Terry Street
  • Continue along Terry Street (turns into Jamberoo Road) for approx. 5 kms
  • Jamberoo Action Park on right

Public Transport

Getting to and from Jamberoo Action Park by public transport is easy and affordable, so why not leave the car at home and enjoy a train ride to Kiama Railway Station then a short bus ride before enjoying a fun packed full day at Jamberoo Action Park… where you control the action!

Bus Service operates Monday to Friday ONLY (Excludes Public Holidays) that departs Kiama Railway Station at 9.41am arriving at the park around 10.10am.

  • IMPORTANT NOTE: This Bus Service operates Monday to Fridays ONLY (Excludes Public Holidays). You must advise the driver that you wish to be dropped at Jamberoo Action Park when you board the bus.
  • From the Jamberoo Action Park Bus Stop the Kiama Coachlines Bus Service departs daily Monday to Fridays ONLY (Excludes Public Holiday) at 4pm to return you to Kiama Railway Station to connect with train services to Sydney and Bomaderry (Nowra). NOTE: If you are joining the Bus only from Jamberoo Action Park you will need to have contacted Kiama Coachlines inadvance to advise that a transfer is required.
